Wolverine Air is a charter airline operating out of Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories. It operates ecotourism flights, government contract flights such as fire patrols in the summer as well as supporting the search and extraction of natural resources in the area.
Founded in 1972, the airline has since grown to include six aircraft including a recently purchased BN-2A Islander.
On September 23 2011 a Wolverine Air Cessna Aircraft, was reported to have crashed near the community of Wrigley NWT. The pilot was found alive and was transported to Ft. Simpson NWT.
